Our vision is to retain educators who dismantle the cradle to prison pipeline by establishing a cradle to career pipeline for boys of color. As the Community Builder, you will: identify and map stakeholders, conduct education and policy research and support in the planning and facilitation of Profound Gentlemen events. Slavery, Freedom, and the Civil Rights Movement

This four-week series led by Kathleen Clark, PhD, explores the ideology of race that developed in the context of slavery, the struggles over what “freedom” would look like after slavery, and the resistance to achieving equality through the ongoing Civil Rights Movement.

No registration is required.

HEART TUTORING NEEDS YOU!

Heart Math Tutoring is working to find volunteer tutors by early September to partner with 1,100 students who have been nominated by their schools. For just thirty minutes a week, you can have a dramatic impact on a student's success in math!

3rd Annual Highland Renaissance Academy Read-A-Thon

On October 31st from 9a-12p Highland Renaissace Academy will hold their annual love of literacy event where you can dress up as your favorite book character.
