kipp NORTH CAROLINA EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR SEARCH

Our first state-wide Executive Director will drive the current strategic priorities of KIPP Eastern North Carolina and KIPP Charlotte, as well as set the vision and direction for the merger of the two regions. Capitol Hill Fellows Program

The 2020 Capitol Hill Fellows Program application is live! The year-long fellowship will train and place TFA alumni in paid congressional staff positions on Capitol Hill. Apply by 1/15.

Have you proven yourself to be a leader in the classroom and are looking to expand your impact?  Are you looking to build your leadership skills and connect with our network while still in the classroom? Greater Enrichment Program is seeking a Part-Time Site Director for the Afterschool Site that is located at Montclaire Elementary. The position will provide direct supervision to a staff of three Classroom Associates and manage the afterschool site of 50 K-5th grade students. 

Since 1975, Greater Enrichment Program has provided high quality afterschool programs in the Charlotte community. By providing support to the entire family, GEP helps students gain the knowledge, confidence and character needed to achieve their personal best in school and in their community. CRYSTAL ROUNTREE HOSTS ALUMNI FOR LUNCH IN Winston Salem 

Join our Executive Director in Winston Salem for lunch as she creates an informal opportunity for us to fellowship and collaborate. During her visit she'd like to share more about our work locally & nationally while learning more about you and your work. It's our hope that while we connect for lunch, that we may find some synergies in our work and organizations as we get to know each other. Lunch will be held on Wednesday, 12/18 from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm. We’ll be meeting at Mozelle's Fresh Southern Bistro, 878 W. 4th St. Winston-Salem, NC 27101 – access the menu here. Maggie's classroom is in need of 8 more computers to make a full classroom set! Her class sizes have grown and her students do not have full access to a computer cart meaning they are not all able to access key sites when they need them. With your support, students can develop vital technology skills, share their learning with others, and critically think about the fast-changing environment around them.
